Planting trees in summer
Hi! I want to buy fruit trees and wonder about the planting time. I know that usually the best time to plant bushes and trees is spring and/or autumn. Then if I buy fruit trees now, is it better to plant them right away or shall I leave them in pots and wait with planting till autumn?

Personally I'd prefer to plant them right away. The pots they're in when you buy them are usually very small compared to the size of the plant, and they will dry out very quickly. By planting them right away you give them better access to water, and also the ability to grow some better roots before the winter comes.
Try to do the planting on a day without sun and wind, and preferably right before it's supposed to rain. :-)
